1. Role of Lagniappe Adventures, LLC
Lagniappe Adventures, LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”) acts solely as an independent travel advisor and intermediary between you (“client,” “traveler”) and travel suppliers providing or arranging services such as airlines, hotels, cruises, and tours. All bookings are subject to supplier terms and conditions.
2. Booking Authorization
By requesting travel services, you authorize Lagniappe Adventures, LLC to make travel arrangements on your behalf and to charge your chosen payment method for deposits, payments, or fees according to supplier policies.
3. Payments & Fees
Payments follow each supplier’s schedule and policies. Non-refundable deposits or prepayment may be required. Our professional planning fees are non-refundable even if your plans change. You are responsible for meeting payment deadlines to avoid cancellation.
4. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
Change and cancellation requests must be made in writing. Refunds (if any) are determined by suppliers, not Lagniappe Adventures, LLC. We will make reasonable efforts to assist you in obtaining refunds or credits but cannot guarantee recovery of funds. Administrative fees may apply for changes.
5. Travel Documents & Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring all travelers have valid passports, visas, and other required documents. Passports must be valid at least six months beyond return date. Failure to meet entry or documentation requirements may result in denied boarding or entry without refund.
6. Travel Protection (Insurance)
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, delay, medical emergencies, and baggage loss. Declining insurance coverage indicates your understanding and acceptance of all potential risks.
7. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks, including illness, injury, property loss, natural disasters, and political unrest. By booking through Lagniappe Adventures, LLC, you voluntarily assume all such risks.
8. Limitation of Liability
Lagniappe Adventures, LLC is not liable for any act, error, or omission by suppliers or third parties, or for any loss, injury, delay, or damage arising from travel arrangements. Our liability shall not exceed the amount of professional fees paid directly to Lagniappe Adventures, LLC.
9. Client Responsibilities
Review all documents within 24 hours of receipt and report discrepancies immediately. Follow supplier and destination rules, including safety and conduct guidelines.
10. Force Majeure
Lagniappe Adventures, LLC is not responsible for loss or damage due to events beyond our control (“Force Majeure”), including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any disputes shall be filed in the courts of Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.
12. Seller of Travel Disclosures
